Learner Competencies

At Mitford, our staff continually works toward creating an engaging learning environment for all our students.  In an ever changing cultural, economic, political and educational landscape, 21st century skills are critical for the future success of our students.

At Mitford School our students in Grade 7 & 8 will be working in a One-to-One blended learning environment. RVS has updated our wireless infrastructure and we have worked to create a new collaborative learning commons environments.

Students in Grade 6 will have access to portable laptop carts, ipods, ipads, and educational software technologies.  Our staff utilize instructional technologies such as google docs, gmail, moodle, plone (school website), wordpress and blogs on a daily basis.
